The Elephant in the Living Room

Family comes in all shapes and sizes. Traditional families, blended families, groups of good friends…all of these are relationships that fit the form of “family” for many of us. While each of these expressions of family are a bit different, one thing they all have in common is moments of tension and conflict. This series explores a Biblical approach to navigating those awkward moments that happen between us and the people we love, from how to manage tension, to how to forgive and move forward, and even examining how conflict in a relationship can make those bonds stronger. This series will encourage you as you address the messes you encounter and strive to have more Christlike relationships.

FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH | LIFE GROUPS

Life Groups play a crucial role in the life of our church. They are the frontlines of ministry, reaching out in unconditional love to ALL people and helping them take Next Steps toward Jesus together.

Leading a Life Group gives you a front row seat to something remarkable – seeing God transform lives through a journey in community. We believe God radically uses Group Leaders to help people experience life WITH Jesus in profound ways.
